Underground Landlord is a rental-focused platform designed to help landlords make better decisions, stay organized, and connect with other landlords — while also giving service providers a place to advertise directly to property owners. This page explains every major feature and where to find it.
Getting Started
Start by creating an account and logging in. After logging in, you’ll be routed to the correct homepage based on your membership level. From there, you can access the tools available to you and upgrade at any time to unlock additional features.
If you are a landlord, your primary tools will be tenant management, tenant search (if eligible), legal tools, community access, and classifieds. If you are a service provider, your primary tools will be the Business Directory and your advertiser management dashboard.

Membership Levels Explained
Membership levels determine which tools you can use. The platform supports multiple user types: landlords, advertisers, and dual-role members.

Search Tenants
Tenant Search is a premium landlord feature. It provides community-sourced rental behavior insight that complements traditional screening tools. It does not replace credit checks, identity verification, or other legally required screening steps.
🔒 Privacy Protected: No tenant personal information is ever displayed publicly. Search results only indicate whether a record exists — landlords must have appropriate membership access to view details, and all information is handled responsibly.
Property Classifieds
Post Listings: Premium (2 max), Advertiser & Combo (unlimited)
List your investment properties for sale directly to other landlords. No retail buyers, no tire-kickers — just serious investors who understand rental properties.
Browsing Listings
Anyone can browse available properties. Use filters to search by ZIP code, rental type, or radius. Click on any listing to see full details and contact the seller.
Posting Your Own Listings
Premium members can post up to 2 active listings. Advertiser and Combo members get unlimited listings. Listings are active for 30 days.
Business Directory
List Your Business: Advertiser and Combo members only
The Business Directory helps landlords find service providers who work specifically with rental properties. This is a rental-context directory — designed for landlords searching by service type and location.
