Your rent collection scoreboard. See exactly who has paid, who is due soon, and who is late — updated in real time as you log payments.
The Payment Status page gives you a live snapshot of where every tenant stands this month. Green means paid, yellow means due soon, red means late or unpaid. You never have to wonder who has paid and who hasn’t — it’s all right here, updated the moment you log a payment.
This scoreboard works hand in hand with the automated reminder system. When a reminder goes out, when a due date passes, and when escalation alerts fire — all of that feeds into what you see here. The status is always current.

Each tenant in your active portfolio shows a status badge that updates automatically based on their payment history and due date. Here is what each status means and what action to take.
|
✅ Paid
Payment logged this month
A payment has been recorded for this tenant for the current month. No action needed — the system will reset automatically for next month.
⏰ Due Soon
Due date is coming up
Rent is not yet due but the due date is approaching. A reminder has been or will be sent automatically to the tenant. No action needed from you yet.
|
🔴 Late
Past due — no payment logged
The due date has passed and no payment has been recorded. Escalation alerts have started. Check your alerts and consider reaching out to the tenant directly.
○ No Reminder
Reminder not configured
This tenant has no reminder set up yet. Go to My Tenants or the full Tenant Hub to configure their payment links and enable their reminder.

When a tenant pays, log it in the system so the status updates and all alerts stop. Logging is quick — it takes about 30 seconds per tenant.

Monthly Snapshot
The scoreboard resets at the start of each month. Every tenant starts fresh — no carryover of paid status from the previous month. This gives you a clean, accurate view of where this month’s collections stand at any point in time. Summary Stats
At the top of the scoreboard you’ll see four summary numbers — total active tenants, how many have paid, how many are late or unpaid, and how much has been collected so far this month. A quick glance tells you everything you need to know. Per Tenant Detail
Each row shows the tenant name, property address, monthly rent amount, current status badge, and a direct link to log their payment. You can see everything at a glance without opening any other page. |
Connected to the Alert System
The Payment Status page and the landlord alert system work from the same data. When the system checks at the end of each day whether rent has been logged, it’s looking at the same payment records you see here. If a tenant shows as unpaid here, alerts are firing. If they show as paid, alerts have stopped. Connected to Tax Center
Every payment you log here flows directly into your Tax Center. Monthly income totals, annual summaries, and Schedule E reporting all pull from the same payment records. You enter the payment once and it’s tracked everywhere — no duplicate entry, no spreadsheets. Partial Payments
If a tenant pays part of their rent, log it as a partial payment. The system will show the outstanding balance and continue alerting you until the full amount is received or you manually mark the record as resolved. |
